The new hollywood release is something special, not because it is an adaptation from comics that comes from notable banners like Marvel (producers) and Walt Disney Studios (distributors). This one, titled 'The Avengers' is a super hero subject, to be specific, is an action movie with many super heroes coming together. Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Captain America etc forms a team to lead the war and thus save the earth from the enemies.
The director of this movie is none other than Joss Whedon, a notable television personality, who is also the writer of movies like 'Toy Story', 'X Men', 'Thor', 'Captain America : The First Avenger' etc. In his new project, Robert Downey Jr returns as Iron Man, Chris Hemsworth reprises his role as Thor, Chris Evans is the Captain America, Mark Ruffalo takes over from Edward Norton as Hulk, Scarlett Johansson plays the strong girl Black Widow, while Jeremy Renner joins the group as Hawkeye, an archery specialist. The big crowd infront of the theaters, especially youths, shows that these super hero characters are popular among the youngsters.
Nick Fury (Samuel L.Jackson), the director of S.H.I.E.L.D, an international peace keeping agency, forms a team to fight
against Loki, half brother of Thor. The latter is a threat for the global security, he wants to destroy the earth and thus to become the most powerful person. The team consists of the super heroes like Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow. The later portions shows, how these people wins the war. The movie has got every ingredients that is necessary for a super hero action oriented subject.
The visual effects and the CG sequences are top class. The chasing and the fight scenes are done well. Also, the director had tried to give equal importance for all the super heroes, satisfying the fans of each one of them. How ever, the ending portions, have got ultimate action scenes, leading to total destruction. The city consisting of very high buildings are destoryed by the attack of alien type gigantic models. The attacking areas and the winning episodes have got an unbelievability factor, as usual, they are unavoidable episodes in projects like this. The scene in which the enemy group conducting an experiment and the aliens coming from another planet, through the energy source, has been seen in a recent hollywood release, 'Battleship'. There are few areas, like the conversation between different heroes, in between, creates a lag. The Hulk and The Iron Man gets the claps for most of their 'action shows'.
