Dangerous IshhqThe new hindi release 'Dangerous Ishhq', has not created a great hype in South, even after the team behind, projects it as the 'comeback' movie of Karishma Kapoor. The reason is that, the viewers are not desperate enough to see the 'return' of the girl, who was a shining star in bollywood during the 90's. The distributors have started giving promos since months before, through the satellite providers like UFO and Qube, telling that the digital 3D projection of the movie will also be available.

The movie is produced by Reliance Entertainment. The director is Vikram Bhatt, who is also the director of 3D horror movie 'Haunted', released an year ago. Any way, in spite of all these, I didn't feel anything extra thrilling in watching this movie. I went for the show, as any other ordinary movie, expecting it to be a very average one.

The story starts with the super model Sanjana (Karishma Kapoor), walking on the ramp, watched by her lover Rohan (Rajneesh Duggal). He becomes upset, when he heard that Sanjana is leaving for Paris for a new assignement, where she has to stay for an year. On the way to the airport, she is getting some instincts and returns to her lover; but Rohan is kidnapped by an unidentified gang, the next morning. Sanjana is injured and she starts to remember her past life. Through, four such different memories, happening in Pakistan, Rajastan traveling through Dangerous Ishhqdifferent periods like 1947, 1956, 1490 etc; she discovers the reason for the kidnapping and shares this with the investigating officer (Jimmy Shergill).

The main problem happened here is the unhealthy story line. The theme is an old one, the presentation is dry in many areas, the flashback portions are not at all appealing. The way in which the director tried to capture the culprit through the old memories can be accepted, but when it is repeated in four different areas, that creates a restlessness. The movie is being made in 3D (I watched the ordinary version), don't know the relevance of using such a technology, in a boring subject like this. Some negative reports are also coming, regarding the quality of 3D technology used in this movie.

Hence, I feel Karishma Kapoor went wrong in choosing a project like 'Dangerous Ishhq', for her comeback. The makeup department might have tried their best, but Karishma, being the mother of two children, is not having the grace to attract the viewers, in this movie. She is wearing 'very high' heels, one might wonder how can she walk normally in that!; the director should have warned her to remove it, atleast in the action sequences. Praveen Bhatt is the cinematographer. Kuldip K.Mehan is the editor. Himesh Reshammiya's songs are not memorable. Raju Singh gave the bg score.

As expected, there is nothing interesting in a fantasy subject like Dangerous Ishhq, it is better to avoid this.
